How to Write Better Web Articles
By Lisa A Mason
If you’re writing articles for the web, there are some things you should know to help you write better web articles. Writing for the Internet is different from writing for other types of media platforms. You need to familiarize yourself with what web readers want before you just start out writing articles.
To write better web articles, you should first know how to do a keyword search. Research into the proper keywords for your article is important. You want to be sure you’re targeting the right thing and that you are using the right keywords in the right way.
To do this, you will need to identify the most popular search terms in your niche and then determine the best topics for you to write about and how to use those keywords in your articles. Just remember that articles should not be overstuffed with keywords and once per 100 words is a good average rate for using the main keyword.
You also need to be sure you write articles that are readable. This means you don’t want to get excessive with your keywords and you also want to be sure your articles are pleasing to the eye. Breaking up the text with bullet points and numbered lists is one way to do this. You can also do this by keeping your paragraphs shorter. Subheadings, where appropriate, are also a good way to keep your article readable.
Lastly, be sure to give something of value in each and every article you write. There is more content on the web today than ever before so it’s important that you give the reader what you promise in your title. Stay on the point and try to include something that shows you are an expert in your field. These tips will help you write better web articles each and every time.
