eMillionaire/EZ Net Income Program Experience – Adwords Advanced Tutorial

In my previous post I wrote about the eMillionarie/EZ Net Income pages for Adwords. This post deals with the next set of eMillionarie/EZ Net Income tutorial videos I tackled, which was on the subject of Adwords Advanced.

The main theme covered in the 3 videos of the Adwords Advanced was how to structure my website/pages for both Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Adwords ranking. To attain the best possible price on Adwords my site needs to score well with Google in regards to the site’s Quality Score (the better the score the lower my cost; that was a clear lesson in the previous eMillionarie/EZ Net Income Adwords tutorial.) As it turns out, to best way to take advantage of “natural” SEO (read “Free”), is to take a lot of the Adwords Advanced tutorial lessons.

So, as I was watching the 3 videos for about 40 minutes, I was supplied with the suggested elements to be included on my site to have a higher Quality Score with Adwords. Some of the highlights were: how to create a silo site structure, how to work with Adwords to have my site reassessed and creating internal linking.

The first major lesson I took away from this set of video tutorials was about how to incorporate a silo site structure into my website design. A silo site structure is a way of organizing each page, its content, titles, headers, and URLs, under defined themes and categories.

The second lesson I took away was to use Adwords to create a campaign to “test” my site’s Quality Score. From the information provided by Adwords I could then target changes to the site using the silo site structure approach. Once these changes were done, I could then duplicate the first campaign used to test the site, and test it again and see if the changes completed made a difference in the site’s Quality Score. It was suggested to duplicate the campaign and rerun it as it has been noticed that once a campaign was run with Adwords it doesn’t seem to check the site again at a later time. By duplicating and testing the campaign, it seems to ensure that the site is checked each time.

Finally, I learned that you definitely want to build links into the silo article pages so that the site will then be better positioned to retain a good quality score.
