Domain Searching and Registering with DomainsAtCost

The last domain searching site mentioned in the article How to Create a Domain Name is DomainsAtCost. The site I’m referring to here is the one with the .COM extension, not the .CA extension.

Well, I checked out this vendor and I have to say I wasn’t impressed. They offer a bunch of free stuff with your domain when you first open up the DomainsAtCost site; the same offers that you get automatically with GoDaddy as well and most other vendors.

Also, when you do a search for your domain name, DomainsAtCost provides some alternatives, but not very imaginative ones. Nor does the site have many of the additional domain extensions like GoDaddy (.NAME or .ME).

I didn’t spend a lot of time checking out DomainsAtCost as I found the site confusing and annoying…maybe you will have better luck.

If you should check out this vendor or any of the others we’ve written about, let us know what you thought or what your experience has been. It would be helpful to hear about other perspectives. Or better yet, tell us about some vendors we haven’t written about yet.

Cheers!
